About the Biz, Liz

I used to be unemployed. Now, I’m overemployed. Haha! So, I don’t have much time anymore, but I’ll always make time to workout. This blog is really just the journal of my workouts and other activity that tends to make me sore, tired, and achy.

Random and Useless Facts:

- You know when you ask a little kid what they want to be when they grow up, they usually answer, ‘a fireman’, ‘a doctor’, or ‘a veterinarian’. When I was 5 years old (I think), I said, “a doughnut maker”. Gosh, I am such a carb junkie. I once ate a box of Krispy Kremes in an hour.

- I hate moths. They’re furry and crazy around porch lights. They freak me out. On a trip to Costa Rica, I thought a big moth flew into our bungalow. It ended up being a bat. I hate bats, too.

- I used to be a skinny fat girl. Not anymore… on my way to being a skinny strong girl.

- I love sleeping. I can sleep anywhere. I once auditioned for American Idol (not to win, just to get on TV), and I feel asleep in line on top of my duffle bag, open mouth, drool on the side.

- I won 2 out of 3 dance contests when I went to Bahamas for Spring Break in 2004. My girls and I went to Miami for Spring Break in 2005 and 2006. No dance contests, but man, was it a good time.

- I used to never sweat while working out. After taking Lipo-6 last summer (because I was sitting on 136 lbs), during every workout I sweat like it’s my job. It’s gross. The good thing is: My feet don’t sweat. Thank, God!

- I am addicted to bleaching. Correction: I am addicted to dental hygiene. If you have jacked teeth or plaque/tartar build-up, I may stare.

- I have a tattoo. It’s on the small of my back. I forget it’s there. Everytime I happen to get look at my back, I surprise myself.

- I tanned last winter. I know I’m filipino. Why tan?

- I want Ina Garten to live with me and cook her ridiculously rich meals for me every single day. Then, she and I will work it off at CrossFit Obsession.

… more to come.
